So long Connie, so many memories of hard work on the flight deck. You gave me a ride half way around the world. When in strange ports like Karachi, Pakistan you waited in the bay for your sailors to return. You were my home and I felt safe and secure when I set foot on you steel deck. RIP I will never forget you.

Is anyone on board the Constellation while it is in tow? If so, is the helm manned?

Surprised Foss Maritime didn’t get or publish photos of the historic moment in Long Beach. Will there be any coming in the future?

A tad disapointed, I wish I had caught the update 🙁 I went out there no ship. Story of my life…A day late and a dollar short. I hope you post some downloadable pictures durring the tow. Have a good run to Brownsville Tx.

So sorry you missed her. We were in and out of Long Beach in an amazing amount of time! We will be posting pictures.

Thanks!! I should have checked the update. I can understand wanting to get underway with the tow. None the less it was good to be out on the sea again and I did see a cruiser that was moored. I am looking forward to the pictures. Part of me is still hoping the Navy will come to its senses and will want to still retain her in standby.
