I was an A-4 pilot in VA-55 on CONNIE in 1962. In July-Sept; we rode the then NEW CONNIE “Round The Horn” from Norfolk to her new permanent homeport of San Diego. Great cruise – Great ship – Sad end! RIP 🙁
