How can one tug boat pull the constellation around the horn by it’s self. When we took it around the horn for the first time, the connie had a very rough time doing it. Matter of fact, front of the ship was damage. I saw the water at the time, it kicked the ship butt. I help built the ship in Brooklyn. I am a member of the first crew. This is Sad for me, to see what is happening. I never though of this happening, in my life time. I spend almost my whole NAVY career on her, sea trials in all. I wanted to see her in Washington, I just could not make it. Well I have many pictures of her from back in the day. I can not say good by yet, not just yet.
